Inspection of SDA Bukigai H/C II
Mount Elgon Field is operating 3 health facilities in the 3 administrative entities, i.e. North Elgon, Central Elgon and South Elgon.
In Central Elgon, the Health Centre III has been operated for over a decade and has had tremedous impact on the locals of Namatala where the facility is situated.
On 5th February, SDA Church Bukigai Health Center II was officially opened to start offering basic health services to the community. This facility had been long dropped from the Health system, however the awakening happened during the visit of the then Uganda Union Mission President, Pr. Dr. Maka Moses Ndimukika’s visit to Bukigai.
The facility has since embarked on the road to license it as a Health Centre III and we trust that God will make this successful and speedy so that the community can be better served.
